2008 marks the 51st anniversary of Desert Club’s Christmas Idea House.  Desert Club is a non-profit all-volunteer women’s organization.  We begin working in late spring to make fabulous holiday decorations and gourmet items.  Our decorations are displayed in a beautiful home that has been generously loaned to us by a family in our community.  The home is open for tour and all of our items are for sale.  All of the proceeds go back to the community.

This years Christmas Idea House is graciously loaned to us by Martin and Ingrid Smith.  Martin and Ingrid have designed, built and decorated this lovely 8,800 square foot home located in North East Mesa.  It is a beautiful home with French Country furnishings with special emphasis on both interior and exterior architectural detail.  Many different textures and mediums have been used to amaze and awe your eye!  This is a must see home.

This black tie optional event which begins at 5:30 p.m. features a home tour, gourmet dinner, and silent auction.  As a guest at Gala, you will be the first to visit the home and have first chance to purchase items.

There will be two seatings at this event.  Brunch will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m. followed by the home tour and Lunch will be 11:30-12:30 p.m. followed by the home tour.  You will enjoy a delicious catered meal  after which you will be able to participate in the home tour.    For additional information, please contact christmasideahouse@hotmail.com
