The stunning home will be transformed into a Christmas<br \/>\nwonderland where visitors will discover thousands of unique holiday gifts and d\u00e9cor artfully displayed<br \/>\nand for sale. All proceeds from this event benefit local charities and provide need-based scholarships<br \/>\nto deserving young students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong> A LASTING IMPRESSION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The theme for this year\u2019s Christmas Idea House is \u201cA Lasting Impression,\u201d reflecting on the annual<br \/>\ntradition this holiday event has become for thousands in the East Valley, and the tremendous<br \/>\ndifference it has brought to the lives of many deserving students and families.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Christmas Idea House, which lures thousands of visitors each year, is the primary fundraiser for<br \/>\nDesert Club, an all-volunteer women\u2019s organization. The event is held at a different luxury home<br \/>\neach year in locations throughout the East Valley. The homeowners move out temporarily, and<br \/>\nDesert Club members decorate the home from top to bottom with holiday d\u00e9cor, unique gifts, and<br \/>\ngourmet goodies. One hundred percent of the proceeds are given back to the community through<br \/>\nneed-based student scholarships and grants to local charities. To date, Desert Club has raised close<br \/>\nto $2.8 million.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Candy Zeper, co-chair for the 2019 Christmas Idea House, has been a Desert Club member for 37<br \/>\nyears. Her mother was a member of the women\u2019s club for over 50 years. \u201cI grew up watching the<br \/>\nladies of Desert Club turn a home into a magical Christmas House, and have seen daughters,<br \/>\nmothers, and grandmothers make this a yearly tradition by attending brunch together.\u201d Over the<br \/>\nyears, she has heard visitors comment on how impressed they were with the event. \u201cEach year I am<br \/>\namazed at what the women of Desert Club create in these beautiful homes that have been<br \/>\ngraciously \u2018loaned\u2019 to us. To me, the Christmas Idea House event truly signals the beginning of the<br \/>\nChristmas season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>THE DETAILS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Christmas Idea House is a three-day event that begins on <strong>Thursday, Dec. 5 at 5:30 p.m<\/strong>. with<br \/>\nthe \u201cPreview Gala,\u201d which includes a gourmet dinner followed by an exclusive home tour and<br \/>\nshopping (reservations required; tickets are $85 per person). <strong>Friday, Dec. 6,<\/strong> guests may attend<br \/>\none of two seating times for the \u201cSneak Preview Brunch\u201d (<strong>9 a.m. or noon<\/strong>) where guests enjoy a<br \/>\nlavish brunch, followed by the home tour and early-bird shopping (tickets are $60).
