Desert Club, founded in 1946, is a non-profit women’s service organization providing academic scholarships to students living in the East Valley and community grants to non-profit organizations serving women, children, and the elderly. Currently, Desert Club has 19 active members and nearly 40 “life” and “sustaining” members.

Since 1958, Desert Club has hosted the annual Christmas Idea House as their primary fundraising event. Over the course of three days, events are held at a beautifully decorated luxury home. Our members work tirelessly throughout the year to offer a variety of unique holiday treasures for sale. Christmas Idea House even offers catered Grand Gala and Yuletide Brunch experiences. All of the proceeds from these events go to academic scholarships and community grants. Over the past seventy years, Desert Club’s efforts have raised nearly three million dollars.
