HOLIDAY CHARITY EVENT TO BENEFIT VALLEY STUDENTS AND FAMILIES

The Christmas Idea House, a luxury home tour and holiday shopping event, returns to Mesa from November 30th through December 2nd, 2023. This year’s featured home is located in a beautifully established Northeast Mesa neighborhood with spacious acre lots. The large front porch evokes the charm of a country home.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore thousands of unique holiday gifts and décor, artistically displayed and available for purchase. All proceeds from this event are dedicated to benefiting the community, providing need-based scholarships to deserving young students and grants to local community charities. To date, the Desert Club has raised over $2.9 million, with 100% of the profits reinvested in the community.

The Christmas Idea House, which attracts thousands of visitors annually, serves as the primary fundraiser for the Desert Club, an all-volunteer women’s organization. The event is hosted in a different luxury home each year at various locations throughout the East Valley. Homeowners temporarily vacate their premises, allowing Desert Club members to adorn the entire house with holiday décor, unique gifts, and gourmet goodies.

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

The theme for this year’s Christmas Idea House is “Home for the Holidays.” Co-Chairs Sue Langdon and Valerie Rao said, “We chose this theme because it reminds us of joy, family, anticipation and comfort. We believe this year’s Christmas Idea home reflects a perfect spirit of “Home for the Holidays”.

THE DETAILS

Preview Gala: The Christmas Idea House kicks off three days of festivities, beginning on Thursday, November 30th at 5:30 pm with the “Preview Gala.” Be the first group inside the home and enjoy a gourmet selection of hearty hors d’oeuvres followed by an exclusive home tour and shopping experience. Yuletide Brunch: Guests may attend one of two seating times, 9:00 am or 10:30 am, for the “Yuletide Brunch” on Friday, December 1st. Guests will enjoy a lavish brunch, followed by the home tour and early-bird shopping. Tickets are $70 – RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. BUY NOW!

Public Tours: Finally, the home is open for Public Tours and shopping on Friday, December 1st from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and again on Saturday, December 2nd, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the door or online. BUY NOW!

PLEASE NOTE: For tickets purchased online, you will receive an email confirmation which will serve as your ticket. You will then check-in for these events when you arrive at the house.

PARKING: Parking for ALL of the Events will be at Central Christian Church located at 933 N Lindsay Rd, Mesa, AZ 85213. FREE shuttles will transport guests from the parking area to the home and back.
